Rhode Island Occupational Therapy Association
Advocacy
It is extremely important for our profession both in our state and the country at large to be present and at the table when important decisions regarding policy are made within our legislature.
RIOTA is committed to advocating for the profession and practice of Occupational Therapy, for consumers of our services, and for the general well being of all Rhode Islanders.
Our Legislative committee works to monitor bills proposed in RI or national issues that may impact the provision of Occupational Therapy Services.
