The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) the national professional association that represents the interests and concerns of occupational therapy practitioners and students of occupational therapy and to improve the quality of occupational therapy services. The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT) provides certification for the occupational therapy profession.
The American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF) is a charitable, non-profit organization, which advances the science of occupational therapy and increase public understanding of its value.
Promote OT was created by AOTA to promote awareness of occupational therapy.
